Anthony + Pamela met through mutual friends although it took them a while to cross paths. Growing up, they shared the same friends, lived in similar areas and even went to school with each other’s cousins but it was only when the time was right that they were introduced. After 5 years of dating, they planned a trip to Melbourne for the weekend. Pamela says:
“Anthony was very eager for a 4am wake- up call. We eventually made it to the hotel after a long morning. I had a whole list of things “to do” starting with breakfast. We dropped off our luggage and like a flash, I was heading back out the door. Anthony stopped me and started saying how nice it was to finally be here, I turned to him and told him to stop being silly, and to hurry because we have a reservation to make. I continue for the door but Anthony wasn’t following he was still talking about how nice it was to be away. I said yet again, ‘Anthony let’s go we are going to be late’. He grabbed me by the arms and started to talk while dropping down to one knee… I stopped him mid-drop and pulled him up thinking he was falling over and needed my help to rebalance. He then finally got me to realise what was happening when he revealed the ring box and showed me the diamond ring…even then I couldn’t believe what was happening! I did say yes but it took a while for me to come down to earth!”
Anthony + Pamela planned their wedding excited to finally be able to celebrate with family and friends and start their next chapter as husband + wife. They said their vows at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Marrickville. We went to the city for photos before a beautiful reception at The Grounds of Alexandria’s Linseed House. Led by MC Nando Greco it was a vibrant family affair with lots of fun, cheer and dancing as everyone celebrated the new Mr + Mrs!
