Carl + Laura’s love story begins when they first crossed paths at a music festival. However, it was by chance they crossed paths again the following week at the pub. Three and a half years later and Carl and Laura went to Dubai to celebrate Laura’s Mum’s 70th birthday.
It was this celebratory trip to Dubai in which Carl proposed to Laura!
When it came to their wedding photography, Laura mentioned finding Mark Jay Photography via instagram and resonating with our style. On the wedding day itself, Laura says, “I was so awkward to begin with for the shots and Mark soon helped me settle”. She describes their wedding as “the best day” – and it shows!
Our newlyweds were married at Gilli Rooftop located within Sydney’s iconic Taronga Zoo, with sweeping views over Sydney Harbour. Following the ceremony, we remained on the breathtaking grounds of Taronga Zoo before the reception commencing at N’gwala Terrace. Guests were entertained by the amazing vocals of Limited Edition Band and our bride + groom organised personalised tambourines that had their guests singing + dancing along!
