Joseph + Angela met at work. They built their connection first as colleagues before realising they were something more. After 5 years of dating, Joseph took Angela out for her birthday. Angela says: “I woke up with a gut feeling and remember saying to myself, “gosh today would be the perfect day to do it, but nah I don’t think so” so I didn’t put much effort into my hair (big mistake!). We arrived in the city and were walking to lunch when we diverted into a quiet area and he dropped on one knee. Following this, I was unable to eat my lunch as I was shaking in shock and happiness”
Joseph + Angela planned their Sydney wedding excited for all the dancing and celebrating that was to come. They were pronounced husband + wife in a beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and describe “that just married feeling” walking out of the church as their highlight of the day.
We went for our bridal party portraits around the city as well as the beautiful grounds of Sydney wedding reception venue, Curzon Hall. Joseph + Angela wanted to channel “classic, classy and elegant vibes” for their wedding day so we did just that!
It was important to Joseph + Angela in choosing a wedding photographer that “our vision and style of photos align”. Angela adds, “Also, finding a photographer who I knew was going to be patient and made us feel warm and comfortable. From an admin perspective, it was important to work with a team that was responsive and on the ball with everything pre and post wedding”. Angela kindly says, “We’re truly so happy with our Mark Jay experience. He was so kind, a true professional and exceeded all of our expectations”.
Joseph + Angela enjoyed a night filled with fun and love at Curzon Hall, led by MC Phillip Franc alongside DJ Bennett who got the party happening as guests celebrated Mr + Mrs Caccamo!
