Ken and Jenny met via work when Ken slid into Jenny’s LinkedIn DMs and the rest was history! They fell in love and five years later, Jenny had an inkling that there could be a proposal on her birthday. She was wrong. However, when she came home from a birthday lunch with friends a week later, she received the best surprise: a romantic proposal from Ken!
Ken + Jenny were looking forward to their wedding day, excited to finally finish the chapter of wedding planning. And of course, celebrating the love they have for each other with those closest to them.
They had a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony in the natural surrounds of Busby’s Promontory in Centennial Parklands, in front of their loved ones and their dog, Franny, as their ringbearer.
Following the Ceremony, we went to the city with their bridal party. Ken + Jenny chose Mark Jay Photography because they were after a natural suite of wedding photos, capturing lots of candid moments. And so with that, our focus was on those fleeting ‘in between’ moments that summed up the atmosphere of the day. And what a fun day it was! Our newlyweds were full of smiles and laughs on location as they soaked up the excitement of their wedding day.
Ken + Jenny’s wedding reception at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf was an elegant and fun-filled affair. The night was led by their Celebrant and MC Johan who ensured everyone had an amazing time.
