“His photography style is exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. Romantic, modern and in the moment”

Mesake (Mase) + Adriana’s love story began with Adriana’s dad falling through a roof! Mase was one of the workers brought in by his boss, a family friend of Adriana’s, to help with fixing things in the home as a result. Mase first caught the eye of Adriana’s mum and she and Mase’s boss decided to play matchmaker and gave Mase Adriana’s phone number. Mase asked Adriana out and they realised pretty quickly that they were the right fit for each other. A little over a year later, Mase proposed!

In the lead up to their wedding day, a very special guest was brought into the world – their gorgeous daughter, who served as flower girl. Adriana says, “Every time I looked at her beautiful face in her dress it made me cry”.

Mase + Adriana were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Mt Pritchard. Mase’s standout moment was seeing Adriana come down the aisle and both shed tears upon meeting at the alter.

When it came to their wedding photos, Adriana says: “Choosing Mark as our photographer was a no brainer. Along with our venue, we made sure to lock in Mark for our wedding as soon as we chose our wedding date. His photography style being natural, romantic, and candid was definitely our vibe.”

We took our bridal party for photos around the city before their reception at Novella on the Park in Abbotsbury. The room was beautifully styled by NPM Events, following the brief of ‘romantic and soft’, with the added twist of pots and vases at the bridal table. Mase + Adriana’s wedding brought together two diverse cultures, Tongan and Croatian. Adriana even spent months learning the Tau’olunga, a traditional Tongan dance, as a surprise for Mase and their guests.

Mase + Adriana spent the rest of their night dancing and having fun – a wedding day that was everything they dreamed of and more!
